Griddown is a decentralized communication and coordination network that keeps clients connected to Crime Fixer investigators during power outages, natural disasters, civil unrest, remote travel, infrastructure failures, and other situations where ordinary communication systems are unavailable.
LILYGO T-LoRa Pager
The LILYGO T-LoRa Pager combines LoRa radio options, a QWERTY keyboard, a 2.33-inch display, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, audio hardware, and an ESP32-S3 platform. Crime Fixer configures it for the approved MeshCore network and service plan.
Protective Intelligence
Griddown connects to Crime Fixer's larger protective-intelligence system, which gathers and analyzes information to protect clients before, during, and after travel or public appearances. This can include researching crime trends, political instability, health risks, and known hostile actors; physically scouting locations; identifying security weaknesses; mapping emergency exits; coordinating response plans; and planning primary, alternate, and emergency routes.
Monitoring And Field Response
Messages, check-ins, and location information can feed Personal Monitoring, Threat Monitoring, Guard, and Respond so Crime Fixer knows who sent the message, what the status means, and what action is required.
Coverage Testing
We test the intended route and service area, record coverage gaps, and adjust devices, antennas, settings, and participating nodes before Griddown becomes part of the monitoring or response plan.
Device Care
Crime Fixer configures, tests, maintains, repairs, and replaces covered Griddown equipment throughout the one-year rental period.
One-Year Rental And Device Care
Every Crime Fixer product is rented for 1 year. We deliver, install or configure, and maintain the equipment according to the product and service selected.
The one-year rental includes unlimited repair or replacement for covered equipment failures. The client pays when equipment is lost, stolen, damaged, or misused while it is in the client’s possession or control.
At the end of the rental, the client returns the equipment using Crime Fixer’s return instructions or arranges for us to recover it.
