These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Crime Fixer website located at www.crimefixer.com, our client portal, and any related online features (collectively, the "Site"). The Site is operated by Crime Fixer LLC ("Crime Fixer", "we", "us", "our").

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms are an agreement between you and Crime Fixer LLC regarding your use of the Site. These general website-use terms do not replace the paid-work terms shown during checkout, booking, portal acceptance, invoice review, or written confirmation. If paid-work terms conflict with these general website-use terms, the paid-work terms control for the purchased service.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and purchase services, unless a parent or legal guardian is the account holder and provides any required consent. You agree to provide accurate information, keep it up to date, and maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.

You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us using the information in the Contact Us section below.

3. Services; No Emergency Use; No Guarantees

No emergency use. The Site and our services are not a substitute for emergency services. If you are in immediate danger, call 911.

No guarantees. Investigations and security work are inherently uncertain. We do not guarantee outcomes, the availability of specific investigative methods, or that evidence will be discovered, admissible, or produce any particular result.

Lawful methods only. We will only perform work that we believe is lawful, ethical, and consistent with our licensing and safety standards. We may decline or stop work at any time if we determine a request is unlawful, unsafe, abusive, or inconsistent with these Terms.

No legal advice. Crime Fixer is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. You should consult an attorney for legal advice.

4. Payments, Service Packages, and Billing

Some Site features and services require payment. Prices, included service levels, usage limits, and any applicable taxes or fees will be disclosed on the Site, in the client portal, or at checkout.

• Service packages: Fix, Dispatch, and Overwatch packages are paid upfront package selections. They do not renew automatically. Unused eligible package value expires 1 year from purchase. If you purchase another Fix, Dispatch, or Overwatch package before unused eligible package value expires, the expiration date for all unexpired unused eligible package value resets to the expiration date of the new package. Report Time, Travel Time, expenses, public-service rules, service-change fees, rented-equipment rules, Overwatch monitoring/data rules, record retention, vendor/subcontractor use, and surcharges are governed by the paid-work terms shown in checkout, booking, invoice, portal acceptance, or written confirmation.
• Surcharges: Active paid-work surcharges may include Additional Agent, Rush Report, Holiday, Mid-Risk, High-Risk, and Alternative Scheduling surcharges. The package units deducted depend on the surcharge and service type shown in the paid-work terms or written confirmation.
• Third-party processors: Payments may be processed by third-party providers. We do not store full payment card details; our payment providers may.
• Refunds: All purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by law.
• Public Service: Public Service payments are non-refundable and may be transferred to another public case if the original public case does not activate, cannot safely continue, or is closed. Public Service contributors may receive quarterly public-service reports when reports are available, and Crime Fixer controls what public evidence, updates, names, images, locations, and case details are published or withheld.
• Service changes: Service cancellations and reschedules may be allowed, but they are subject to Crime Fixer approval, availability, safety, and a service-change fee deducted from available package units under the paid-work terms.
• Chargebacks: If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute, we may suspend your account and services while the dispute is investigated.

5. Client Responsibilities

You agree that you will not use the Site or our services for harassment, intimidation, stalking, discrimination, or any other unlawful purpose. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any information you submit to us, including information about other individuals.

You agree to cooperate in good faith, provide accurate information, and promptly respond to reasonable requests needed to perform services (for example, identity verification and conflict/safety screening where applicable).

If rented equipment, cameras, sensors, internet devices, signs, bait packages, access credentials, or similar property-protection tools are included in a service, you must protect them from damage, theft, tampering, and unauthorized access, and return or allow recovery of rented equipment when Crime Fixer requests it.

6. Prohibited Use

You may not (and may not attempt to):

• Request or facilitate illegal surveillance, wiretapping, hacking, credential theft, or unauthorized access to devices, accounts, networks, or data.
• Use the Site to threaten, stalk, harass, defame, or intimidate any person.
• Upload malware, attempt to disrupt the Site, probe for vulnerabilities, or bypass access controls.
• Misrepresent your identity or your authority to request an investigation.
• Use information obtained through our services to violate a court order or the rights of others.

7. Confidentiality and Communications

We treat client communications and case information as confidential, subject to legal requirements and operational necessities (for example, using vetted service providers to deliver the service you requested). We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of any person.

Public Service is different from Private Service. Client identity remains private unless the client chooses otherwise, but public-facing evidence, updates, and information about the work may be shared when allowed by the paid-work terms.

Overwatch and similar monitoring services may involve monitoring, recording, reviewing, storing, and using camera footage, audio, video, text messages, calls, live chat, sensor alerts, wearable-device information, vitals-related information, location information, and other safety or monitoring data when needed to provide the service.

By using the Site, you consent to receive communications from us electronically (for example, email notices, portal messages, and phone calls) regarding your account, bookings, billing, and service updates. Where permitted by law, we may record calls or video meetings for quality assurance and record-keeping.

8. Intellectual Property

The Site, including its text, graphics, logos, images, software, and design, is owned by Crime Fixer or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Site for your personal or internal business use in connection with our services.

9. Third-Party Links and Tools

The Site may contain links to third-party websites and services (for example, scheduling tools, payment processors, analytics providers, or other resources). We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their content or practices.

Crime Fixer may use qualified subcontractors, vendors, agents, investigators, protection personnel, technical specialists, forensic specialists, process servers, couriers, equipment vendors, monitoring providers, and software providers when the approved work requires them. You authorize Crime Fixer to share the information reasonably needed for them to perform the approved work.

10. Disclaimers

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crime Fixer disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crime Fixer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Site or services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims related to the Site will not exceed the amounts you paid to Crime Fixer for the applicable service giving rise to the claim during the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Crime Fixer and its owners, employees, contractors, and agents from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, and you consent to the jurisdiction and venue of those courts unless Crime Fixer elects another legally available forum or a different written agreement controls.

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and may provide additional notice through the Site or by email. Your continued use of the Site after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
