These terms govern your use of the Crime Fixer website and client portal. If you are purchasing services, additional written terms may apply.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Crime Fixer website located at www.crimefixer.com, our client portal, and any related online features (collectively, the "Site"). The Site is operated by Crime Fixer LLC ("Crime Fixer", "we", "us", "our").
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

These Terms are an agreement between you and Crime Fixer LLC regarding your use of the Site. You may also be presented with additional terms when you schedule a consultation, create an account, or purchase services. If a specific written service agreement conflicts with these Terms, the service agreement controls for those purchased services.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and purchase services, unless a parent or legal guardian is the account holder and provides any required consent. You agree to provide accurate information, keep it up to date, and maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us using the information in the Contact Us section below.
3. Services; No Emergency Use; No Guarantees
No emergency use. The Site and our services are not a substitute for emergency services. If you are in immediate danger, call 911.
No guarantees. Investigations and security work are inherently uncertain. We do not guarantee outcomes, the availability of specific investigative methods, or that evidence will be discovered, admissible, or produce any particular result.
Lawful methods only. We will only perform work that we believe is lawful, ethical, and consistent with our licensing and safety standards. We may decline or stop work at any time if we determine a request is unlawful, unsafe, abusive, or inconsistent with these Terms.
No legal advice. Crime Fixer is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. You should consult an attorney for legal advice.
4. Payments, Subscriptions, and Billing
Some Site features and services require payment. Prices, included service levels, usage limits, and any applicable taxes or fees will be disclosed on the Site, in the client portal, or at checkout.
- Subscriptions: If you purchase a subscription, it may renew automatically until you cancel, unless otherwise stated at checkout or in your plan details.
- Third-party processors: Payments may be processed by third-party providers. We do not store full payment card details; our payment providers may.
- Refunds: Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated in writing by Crime Fixer.
- Chargebacks: If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute, we may suspend your account and services while the dispute is investigated.
Surcharge schedule. Unless explicitly stated otherwise in a signed writing, the following surcharges apply across subscriptions and one-time services:
- Same-Day Report: 25% of the service time rate (travel time excluded).
- Same-Day Service: 10% of the normal rate for service scheduled between 12:00 AM and 11:59 PM (Pacific Time).
- After-Hours Service: 10% of the normal rate for service between 9:00 PM and 8:59 AM (Pacific Time).
- Holiday Service: 200% of the normal rate for New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve.
- Emergency Response Service: 200% of the normal rate.
- Normal rate definition: Normal rate includes both service time and travel time for service-based surcharges. Same-Day Report applies only to service time.
- Stacking: All surcharges are stackable when more than one applies.
5. Client Responsibilities
You agree that you will not use the Site or our services for harassment, intimidation, stalking, discrimination, or any other unlawful purpose. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any information you submit to us, including information about other individuals.
You agree to cooperate in good faith, provide accurate information, and promptly respond to reasonable requests needed to perform services (for example, identity verification and conflict/safety screening where applicable).
6. Prohibited Use
You may not (and may not attempt to):
- Request or facilitate illegal surveillance, wiretapping, hacking, credential theft, or unauthorized access to devices, accounts, networks, or data.
- Use the Site to threaten, stalk, harass, defame, or intimidate any person.
- Upload malware, attempt to disrupt the Site, probe for vulnerabilities, or bypass access controls.
- Misrepresent your identity or your authority to request an investigation.
- Use information obtained through our services to violate a court order or the rights of others.
7. Confidentiality and Communications
We treat client communications and case information as confidential, subject to legal requirements and operational necessities (for example, using vetted service providers to deliver the service you requested). We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of any person.
By using the Site, you consent to receive communications from us electronically (for example, email notices, portal messages, and phone calls) regarding your account, bookings, billing, and service updates. Where permitted by law, we may record calls or video meetings for quality assurance and record-keeping.

8. Intellectual Property
The Site, including its text, graphics, logos, images, software, and design, is owned by Crime Fixer or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Site for your personal or internal business use in connection with our services.
9. Third-Party Links and Tools
The Site may contain links to third-party websites and services (for example, scheduling tools, payment processors, analytics providers, or other resources). We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their content or practices.
10. Disclaimers
The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crime Fixer disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crime Fixer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Site or services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims related to the Site will not exceed the amounts you paid to Crime Fixer for the applicable service giving rise to the claim during the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Crime Fixer and its owners, employees, contractors, and agents from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, and you consent to the jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and may provide additional notice through the Site or by email. Your continued use of the Site after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
